The new Fall Winter Collection by French powerhouse Mônot is a breathtaking mix of dark tones and chic design. Most of the garments presented at the Mônot fashion show in the beautiful Parisian Palais de Tokyo were in formal black, but they were in no way boring. The creative director of the luxury brand – Eli Mizrahi is world-renowned for his skillful use of cutouts. He effectively applied them in this collection along with nostalgic references from the toned down 90s to add a lot of depth and a pleasant dose of complexity to the items. The holes on the garments, where the fabric was cut out have really intriguing shapes and forms. It is safe to say that Mônot’s cutout designs are negative space works of art in their own right! Overall, the items from this collection are attention-demanding, they are elegant statement pieces, perfect for any special occasion.
